I'm the Senior Pastor at Ascension Church of Phoenix, a church I planted and love. I'm a geographical oddity, having grown up in a small town in Mississippi, then spent 8 years in the midwest for school, and now settled for the last decade in the great Southwest. My wife Bekah and I have 4 sons. We are obsessively committed to reading books out loud as a family every night and are seriously torn about whether we are more "beach" or "mountain" people. I'm also interested in music, and was halfway decent at playing it in a past life.
